Service and traffic update in London

London is a vibrant city where something exciting is always happening: parades, festivals, sporting events, or demonstrations can energize the streets at any time… and may occasionally affect our routes.
We do everything we can to maintain a smooth and enjoyable service. When disruptions are expected, our Tootbus teams take the necessary measures to adjust our routes safely.
Temporary changes may therefore be made to our usual itineraries.

Several routes affected:

  • From April 21 to April 28, The London Marathon taking place on Sunday 27th April will necessitate road closures and diversions. The run starts south of the river in Greenwich, going over Tower Bridge, along the Embankment, through Parliament Square, Victoria and finishing at the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. Roads along the route will not be open to traffic between 4.00am until 8.30pm. Please refresh the Tootbus App for the latest notifications on stop closures as they are received.

Royal Blue Route

  • From April 24 to April 25, Friday 25 April - Anzac Day Whitehall will be closed for the wreath laying ceremony at The Cenotaph between 08:00 and 12:30. The following stops will be closed: Stop 32 Parliament Street Stop 33 Horse Guards Parade
  • From April 24 to April 28, Sunday 27 April - London Marathon The tours will be on diversion to facilitate the marathon on Sunday and the Blue tour will not serve the following stops: Stop 23 London Eye Stop 28 Tooley Street Stop 29 Tower of London Stop 30 Temple Stop 31 Westminster Pier Stop 32 Parliament Street Stop 33 Horse Guards Parade Stop 34 Trafalgar Square
  • From April 14 to December 20,Lambeth Bridge is partly closed until 19th December 2025. The Blue tour will be on a slight diversion and not serve the following stops: Stop 20 Horseferry Road Stop 21 Lambeth Palace Stop 22 Westminster Bridge

Yellow Route

  • From April 24 to April 28, Sunday 27 April - London Marathon The tours will be on diversion to facilitate the marathon on Sunday and the Yellow tour will not serve the following stops: Stop 23 London Eye Stop 28 Tooley Street Stop 29 Tower of London Stop 30 Temple Stop 31 Westminster Pier Stop 32 Parliament Street Stop 33 Horse Guards Parade Stop 34 Trafalgar Square Stop 35 Trafalgar Square, Pall Mall East Stop 36 Whitehall, Craig's Court Stop 37 Whitehall, Banqueting House Stop 38 Parliament Street, Westminster Station

Green Route

  • From April 1 to May 3, Wednesday 2nd April - Friday 2nd May Stop 39 Wyndham's Theatre is closed for repair works. Please take the Green tour from Stop 40 St Martin-in-the-Fields at the following times: 08:23, 09:23, 10:23, 17:03, 18:03 & 19:03
  • From January 2 to January 1, From 6th January the Green route will run six shuttle tours a day.
