Paris Plages 2025, summer in Paris
Paris Plages is back this summer in the capital for its 20th edition. Take advantage of this opportunity to visit Paris at your own pace and discover the city's emblematic sites on board our Paris Discovery tour.

Paris Plages: a little history
Paris Plages returns this summer from 5 July to 31 August 2025. This operation has been run by the Council of Paris since 2002. This year, Paris Plages celebrates its 24th edition! The aim of this event is to allow Parisians who do not go on holiday and visitors to enjoy free leisure and relaxation areas during the heat of the summer. This summer, both Parisians and visitors will be able to cool off right in the Seine.
For the 2025 edition of Paris Plages, three iconic locations are open for swimming, including the quai de Bercy, specially designed for the occasion. Wooden pontoons, secure swimming areas, changing rooms, and showers are all in place so you can enjoy a unique moment by the water, right in the heart of the city.
This opening marks a historic milestone for the capital, made possible thanks to a major clean-up programme launched in preparation for the Olympic Games. The Seine is becoming a place for leisure, relaxation and swimming. It is a fresh and original way to (re)discover Paris with your feet in the water, whether with family or friends.
