What cultural activities to do in Paris for Easter?

Book Festival

The Paris Book Festival returns on 21, 22 and 23 April 2023 at the Grand Palais Éphémère and in various prestigious Parisian venues. Did you love My Brilliant Friend, Elena Ferrante's bestseller? Are you an unconditional fan of Corto Maltese, the famous comic book hero created by Hugo Pratt? Do you prefer the melancholic works of Dino Buzzati? As you may have guessed, Italy is in the spotlight for this second edition.

Take advantage of this event to renew your interest in Italian literature and come and meet some 800 French-speaking and international authors during interviews, debates, readings, signing sessions or workshops.

For the greatest pleasure of the little ones, go on the adventure of the unmissable Easter egg hunt during your trip to Paris.

From 5 to 11 April 2023, discover the 19th arrondissement of Paris and take part in the third edition of the egg hunt organised by the family concept store On the other fish and the local media Les Pépites du 19e.

Monkey Kwest offers a giant escape game egg hunt in the park of the Château de Nanterre from April 8th to 10th 2023.

At the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, a giant treasure hunt is organised on Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th and Monday 10th April 2023. This event will lead you in the footsteps of illustrious characters from the Grand Siècle, through fun, animated activities.

The Domaine de Saint-Jean de Beauregard welcomes children from 3 to 10 years old for an egg hunt on 9 and 10 April 2023, from 2 to 6 pm.

On April 8 and 9, 2023, the Ferme de Gally offers an egg and golden egg hunt as well as many activities.

The Château de Breteuil awaits you for its traditional Easter egg hunts on 9 and 10 April 2023.

 

Choco-story Paris

Discover the history of chocolate through the Choco-Story experience offered by the Musée du Chocolat in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. Dive into the fabulous world of chocolate through the ages thanks to workshops, demonstrations and interactive animations.

The oldest funfair returns to Paris from 31 March to 29 May 2023. Come and wander between the hundreds of attractions of the Foire du Trône installed on the Pelouse de Reuilly. For an Easter holiday closer to nature, head to the Jardin des Plantes, the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle or the Parc Zoologique de Paris to discover the vast biodiversity.

 

Jardin des Plantes

The Jardin des Plantes is open all year round free of charge. The large greenhouses of the Jardin des Plantes form a group of five greenhouses built between 1836 and 2010. See the tropical and exotic plants in the rainforest greenhouse.

The Menagerie is a place that is sure to appeal to a young audience. The zoo of the Jardin des Plantes is the playground of many animals that you can see in the middle of a wooded area of several hectares.

The National Museum of Natural History in Paris is a collection of museums, gardens, galleries and zoos dedicated to the treasures of nature.
